Biography
Batung Godfred and Batung Godwin, popularly known as (D2S) was born on January 1, 2000 at the Charia Clinic in Wa. They were born to parents Mr. Batung Sylvanus and Mrs. Batung Gifty from Charia Wa in the Upper West Region of Ghana and their mother is a Trader. Growing up, they lived with their mother in Wa during their early stages in life. According to them their father passes away when there were still Kids and later ended up on the streets. Mrs. Batung Gifty is their mother, a movie actress.
EDUCATION BACKGROUND
D2S GH attained his basic education at Bishop's Catholic JHS at Mangu, a suburb in Wa, then processed to different SHS now at POLYTECHNIC to together. Where they demonstrated their love for Electrical/Electronic Engineering and Building Construction technology.
ACHIEVEMENTS
D2S worked hard to compose their first external play(EP), which they gain recognition with this anticipated EP, “TALKOUTEP”, which featured Ghanaian musician in the EP Sambwoy and Stunner Gh. Later get 1st runner up in “UPPER WEST TALENT SHOW”. That same year, their wins XPRESSGHONLINE ARTSIST OF THE MONTH (July 2021), which help them to get a golden opportunity; D2S GH is a multi-talented artist. They are consistent too. They started music at 2019 with a single track dubbed TOO MUCH ABORTION with the aim to reduce abortion in the community.
